This Privacy Policy governs how SHANVITH GAURAV SOFTWARE (OPC) PVT LTD ("we," "us," "our," or "Envelope Pay") collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our Envelope Pay mobile application and related services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This policy complies with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

(a) Personal Identification Information

• Full name, mobile number, and email address
• Business name, GSTIN, and business address
• PAN card number and Aadhaar number (for KYC verification)
• Bank account details and IFSC codes for payment processing

(b) Transaction Information

• Payment history, amounts, and timestamps
• Beneficiary details and account information
• Invoice data imported from the GST portal
• Challan and bill payment records

(c) Device and Technical Data

• Device identifiers (IMEI, device ID)
• IP address, browser type, and operating system
• App usage patterns and crash logs for improvement

We are committed to minimising data collection. We do not store:

• Your UPI PIN or banking passwords
• Full debit/credit card numbers or CVV codes
• Any biometric data beyond what is required for device-level authentication
• Real-time location data or GPS tracking information

We use your information to:

• Process and facilitate business payments, supplier transactions, and GST challans
• Verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML regulations
• Send transaction notifications, payment confirmations, and security alerts
• Improve app functionality and personalise your experience
• Detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, and unauthorised access
• Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Banking partners and payment gateways to process transactions
• NPCI / RBI regulated entities for UPI and NEFT/RTGS processing
• KYC verification partners for identity checks as required by law
• Government authorities when legally required or compelled by court order
• Service providers who assist in operating our platform under strict confidentiality agreements

We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, multi-factor authentication, regular security audits, and penetration testing. Our infrastructure complies with RBI data localisation requirements — all user data is stored within India.

You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. You may withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@envelopepay.com. Note that certain data must be retained for regulatory compliance even after account closure.

We retain transaction records for a minimum of 5 years as required by RBI guidelines and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Account information is retained for the duration of your account and for 2 years post-closure unless a longer period is legally required.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

(a) Cancellation & Refund Charges

Our cancellation policy purely works on settlement schedule. Irrespective of payment priority, we charge 2.5% flat cancellation & refund charges, when you use our services as a registered user.

(b) Cancellation & Refund Terms

Cancellation is only possible if payment settlement from our payment gateway / bank has not taken place. Once the settlement has been initiated by our Bankers / Online Payment system, we will not be able to process a cancellation or refund for that transaction.

(c) Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment source. The actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank's processing schedule. We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment processor.

(d) Non-Refundable Transactions

• GST Challan payments once submitted to the government portal
• Utility bill payments once confirmed by the service provider
• Any transaction where settlement has been completed
• Service charges and convenience fees

By using Envelope Pay's payment services, you enter into a binding purchase agreement with SHANVITH GAURAV SOFTWARE (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. You acknowledge that:

• All payment instructions provided by you are accurate and authorised
• You have the legal authority to operate the business account registered on our platform
• You will maintain sufficient funds in your linked account for scheduled payments
• Transaction fees and applicable charges will be deducted at the time of transaction
• You have read and accepted this Terms & Conditions document in full

Envelope Pay acts as a payment facilitator and is not a party to the underlying commercial transaction between you and your supplier or vendor.

In the event of a disputed transaction, you must raise a dispute within 30 days of the transaction date. Disputes raised after this period may not be entertained.

Dispute Resolution Process

• Raise a dispute via the app under "Transaction History" → "Raise Dispute" or email support@envelopepay.com
• Our team will acknowledge your dispute within 48 business hours
• Investigation will be completed within 15 business days
• If the dispute is resolved in your favour, the refund will be credited within 5–7 business days

For UPI-related disputes, NPCI's grievance redressal mechanism will also apply. Envelope Pay is not liable for disputes arising from incorrect beneficiary details entered by the user.

As a registered user of Envelope Pay, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date KYC information
• Not use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or money-laundering activities
• Keep your login credentials and OTPs confidential and not share them with anyone
• Report any suspected unauthorised access to your account immediately
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws, RBI guidelines, and FEMA regulations
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit any part of the Envelope Pay system

Violation of these obligations may result in immediate account suspension, reporting to regulatory authorities, and legal action.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India.

These terms are also subject to the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007; the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934; and all regulations and guidelines issued thereunder.

Envelope Pay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time with or without notice if we believe you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by regulatory authorities.

You may request account closure at any time by contacting support@envelopepay.com. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but your transaction records will be retained as required by law. Any pending settlements at the time of termination will be processed and credited to your registered bank account.
